The heat/air conditioning in your room is not controlled by the control panel attached to your heating/cooling unit. That control panel will always say “ON”. To change the temperature in your room, look around for a wall-mounted thermostat that looks like the image below:
On the left-hand side of the thermostat at the top is the system power button. That will turn your entire heating/air conditioning system on or off. The button below that changes the display between Fahrenheit and Celsius settings. The bottom button selects the fan speed (low or high).
The large display in the middle will normally show OFF when you first enter the room, or if you’ve been away for more than an hour. Otherwise, it will show the room’s current temperature.
Press the power button until a temperature displays, then press the triangle shaped buttons to the right of the screen to set the room’s desired temperature. The system will automatically select either heating or cooling to reach that desired temperature.
Please note: This system is not able to be set to run the fan continuously, even when not heating or cooling. The fan only turns on when the temperature needs to be adjusted. This is by design and cannot be changed.
If you’re still having trouble with your in-room thermostat please contact the Front Desk by pressing Zero on your room phone.
