Whether you're planning a meeting, conference, wedding or special event, rest assured the Santa
Cruz Hotel Group will attend to your specific needs with individual care and expert attention. We
have meeting space available at two of our hotels, the Best Western Capitola By-the-Sea Inn & Suites
in Capitola and the Best Western Rose Garden Inn in Watsonville. Our professional staff would be
happy to assist and advise you on all aspects of planning a successful event, and no detail, however
minute, will be overlooked.
We have included a Request For Proposal (RFP). Simply submit the online form, and our sales office will contact you in a timely manner with availability and a quote. The Best Western Capitola By-the-Sea Inn & Suites
offers over 1,300 square feet of meeting space overlooking
a garden courtyard and pool area.
Our Begonia Room can comfortably accommodate 82 attendees. When it is used in conjunction with the outdoor courtyard, 100 can be accommodated. The room can also be divided in half by means of a soundproof wall, allowing smaller gatherings to take place. Audio-visual equipment and a handsome lectern are available for use. Your attendees will have access to a fax machine, photocopier, and elegantly decorated public restrooms. The room is also serviced with ultra high-speed Internet connections. You'll be impressed with the décor of our meeting room. We have adorned it with the begonia flower, the emblem of Capitola. Johnson's Art Studio, whose work has featured in Hollywood productions, custom-made all of the lighting. Just outside the main entrance to the meeting room, there is a lovely fountain that greets your guests. During breaks, attendees can stroll through the hallways of the hotel to enjoy an intriguing exhibit of artwork commissioned by the Capitola Begonia Festival, Art & Wine Festival and Wharf-to-Wharf Race.
The Best Western Rose Garden Inn
offers over 600 square feet of meeting space overlooking
a lovely garden.
Our Rose Room can comfortably accommodate up to 38 attendees. Audio-visual equipment and a handsome lectern are available for use. Your attendees will have access to a fax machine, photocopier and elegantly decorated public restrooms. The Rose Room also features high-speed Internet connections and free local telephone service. In keeping with the rest of the hotel, the décor of our meeting and event facility reflects the area’s deep-rooted Mexican heritage. Colors are vibrant and cheerful. The local area is also one of the nation’s largest rose producers. This is reflected in the lovely art pieces that adorn the walls of the Rose room.
